I tried optimising Simple system v8.9 just like you showed in udemy course I was using GBPUSD for 1H, trailing SL was turned off. For back test I used 19 Oct,15 – 19 Feb,16 and chose 5 – 6 results and saved them. Then i ran forward test on them on period 19 Feb 16 – 19 Mar 16, and none of them gave profitable result. Tried the procedure from scratch and still no profitable results in forward test. In all i tried 18-20 results from back test none of which gave profit in forward test. Can you please help me n tell what could be the reason behind this and how to get out of this ? On a side note, out of frustration I ran forward test from one of the result on EURUSD and it gave profit, almost all 5-6 tests in that backtest gave significant profits in EURUSD forward test. So is it advisable to set these expert advisors on demo account on EURUSD trade?
